Sleepy Hollow the Musical will run Off-Broadway at The Players Theatre NYC Sept 26 - Nov 9, 2025. This original adaptation by Brenda Bell with music composed by Michael Sgouros is inspired by Washington Irving's The Legend of Sleepy Hollow.

Follow Ichabod Crane as he discovers his new post as schoolmaster in Sleepy Hollow is fraught with more than the usual trials and tribulations of settling into an unfamiliar place. With recalicitrant townsfolk and a possible murderous ghost, Ichabod has his work cut out for him.
Nominated for an Innovative Theatre Award for best original music - this musical adaptation of "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" features live music (percussion and cello) and spell-binding choreography that will draw you into the hollow and take you for a breathless ride.

Things that go bump in the night? Ghost, goblins, and monsters? Nightmares of showing up to work naked? What puts the SCARE in you? We are seeking plays that have an element – or a heaping cup – of fear. Scare us or force us to laugh till we die with horror plays and musicals, including a great spoof.
SPF BOO! is now taking submissions!
Plays must be BOO–themed, which means scary, eerie, or horrifying in some way.
